20th of nov - london jazz fest - HONsemble
HONsemble is a 9 piece expansion of Huw V Williams’ critically acclaimed project HON. In this formation, Huw expands his sonic pallet by adding a tenor saxophone quartet, electronics and another drum kit. Alongside Williams, some of the UK’s top young improvisors perform as part of HONsemble such as BBC Radio 3 new generation artists Laura Jurd and young piano wizard Elliot Galvin.

Winner of the 2012 Yamaha Jazz Scholars Prize from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Huw draws on a rich combination of his Welsh roots, his training in Jazz and the contemporary creative music scenes in London, Berlin and New York. With a fast growing CV lit up by some of the biggest names in the creative music scene; Jim Black, Michael Blake, Ivo Neame, Jason Rebello, Devin Gray, Mark Lockheart and long time mentor Huw Warren, Huw V Williams is building a beautiful bass filled world of free music and primal creativity.
